Totals
Tax applies after discount. Amounts round to the currency’s standard decimal places. Enter the rate that applies to your transaction.
Choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog to download your document.
How to use it
Create, review and download.
Inputs and units
Enter your business and customer details, quotation number, issue date and an optional expiry date. Add item descriptions, quantities, rates, currency, discounts and tax. Include delivery terms, exclusions and acceptance instructions in Notes & terms.
Formula
Line amount = quantity × unit rate. Sum rounded line amounts, subtract the percentage discount, then add percentage tax on the discounted subtotal. Currency rounding applies at each step.
Worked example
Three hours at £40 give a £120 subtotal. A 5% discount is £6; 20% tax on £114 is £22.80, giving a quotation total of £136.80.
Assumptions and limitations
A quotation is not an invoice or payment receipt. Review your pricing, tax treatment and contractual terms before sharing. This template does not determine whether an accepted quotation creates a contract. Review the live preview and use Print / Save as PDF. Drafts remain in the current page and are lost on reload.
