How to use it
Create, review and download.
Inputs and units
Enter business and customer names, invoice number and issue date. Add quantities and unit rates, choose a currency, and optionally enter a due date, tax rate, discount and payment details.
Formula
Each line is quantity × rate, rounded to the currency’s standard decimal places. Subtotal is the sum of line amounts. Percentage discount applies to subtotal; percentage tax applies to the discounted subtotal. Total = subtotal − discount + tax.
Worked example
Two items at $50 each give a $100 subtotal. A 10% discount removes $10. Tax at 5% on $90 adds $4.50, giving a total of $94.50.
Assumptions and limitations
This is a general document template. Check the legal invoice requirements for your jurisdiction, including business registration, tax identifiers and required wording. The tool does not calculate statutory tax rates, track payments, issue receipts or send invoices. Use Print / Save as PDF; your draft is not stored.
